I educate and empower women to break free from people-pleasing
and self-abandonment so they can reclaim their voice, own their truth, and call back their power from every place they left it to belong.
Talks / Workshops
Weaving elements of impactful storytelling, humour, spoken word poetry and a grounded open heart, Kyra's talks move listeners into radical self-acceptance and readiness to know and embody their worth.

No More Little Mx. People Pleaser
The Hidden Cost of Self-Abandonment and How to Stop Shrinking for Safety and Start Living Your Truth
Everyone wants to be free from the self-sabotaging voices in their heads. This honest and heart-centred talk exposes the complexity of what it actually takes to confront the relentless mind and the stories we tell ourselves about our worth and potential. This alchemical talk is for the woman who is or wants to be done hiding and done settling for good enough. They want to or are ready to embody the highest expression of what this life is calling of them and they are done adapting to make everyone else comfortable. This talk will flip the lid on the conditioned understanding of self-expression and rewire your relationship with your life force, leaving you inspired to make friends with the often suppressed or rejected parts of yourself and motivate you to step more fully into your personal power.

The Gift of Anger
How Reclaiming Your Rage Expands Your Nervous System’s Capacity for Love, Boundaries & Truth
Anger is a powerful, yet misunderstood, cathartic tool that (believe it or not) can support the nervous system, open the heart, and increase the capacity for self-expression and authentic connection. And right now, it is simple and urgent - we need people connected to the highest expression of their truth, leading from their hearts, and living their unique medicine. This talk is for the women who (unconsciously) don’t believe they are worthy of the life and love they desire, and even though they might consciously want something, their sneaky methods of self-sabotage slide in right before they get to hold it. This talk will inspire self-compassion, forgiveness and equip you with tolerable tools to step into your fire of your Truth and move towards what you want.

Giving Up Good Enough
What Choosing to Face Death Teaches us About Life and Becoming Who We Truly Are
The resistance and grip we hold to the old life - the old patterns, the outdated stories, the fears of stepping outside the script of what we have known and who others perceive us to be - all of this takes a willingness to confront death. This talk takes listeners on a transformative journey of introspection and inner alchemy to re-narrate your life experience and channel pain into purpose by creating a legacy that transcends suffering and awakens the deeper truth within your heart. Through the art of storytelling and radical vulnerability, this talk will leave you with a deeper sense of self-acceptance, a willingness, and a curiosity to explore your expression and how that can lead you to your untapped potential.
About Kyra (she/her)
Kyra creates ceremonial spaces to honor what’s ending — and everything it’s making room for. As a speaker, poet, death doula and former palliative care nurse, Kyra lives at the intersection of endings and emergence. Her work explores the thresholds we’re rarely taught to name — from physical death to the quiet unravellings of identity, belonging, and self-worth. Rooted in the belief that grief is not a problem to fix, but a portal to deeper truth, Kyra guides audiences through the inner reckonings required to live a life that’s actually theirs. Her talks are both poetic and practical — inviting people to examine the places they’ve abandoned themselves in the name of being good, likeable, or easy to love.
Whether she’s speaking about people-pleasing, spiritual awakening, or the humbling lessons of identity death, Kyra invites a return to the body, to truth, and to the medicine of who we were before the world told us who to be.
Her voice is a permission slip — to feel it all, to let go of what no longer fits, and to rise rooted in what’s real.

I honour and acknowledge the privilege I have to walk in reverence for this earth; I do not take for granted that the lands I am blessed to live, work, love and breathe upon are seated on the stolen and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations and the Coast Salish People who hold immense resilience in the face of ongoing colonial violence.
